Bleu Benedictin- Canadian Blue Cheese (100g)
Bleu Benedictin Canadian Blue Cheese is crafted by Monks in the Heart of the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac, Quebec.
Bleu Benedictin is a whole milk, semi-soft cheese. The aroma is reminiscent of mushroom and the cheese has a creamy, light salty flavour palette. Deeply-veined with Roquefort penicillin mold gives the cheese it’s blue inside speckling. A wheel of Bleu Benedictin weighs 2 kg, has a whitish-grey skin and comes wrapped in gold foil. It is an aged version of Bleu Ermite. The middle of a wheel is particularly creamy.
Bleu Benedictin is the perfect strength as an introduction to blue cheese. Excellent in salads, or on a hamburger. Great for sauces or dips. Enjoy with a fruity and sweet wine.
